Well, that was new for me. Never heard those styles mixed quite like this. Wish it wasn't quite so repetitive. For the uniqueness, I can see why this was on the front page.

They're a bit bity in places but I like the effects. Definitely fits your suggested theme.

Got potential. I like what you did with the bass. This would be great to build a tune from. All you'd need is a B section to change things up. I could see the B section being where you could write in a place for vocals, then go back to what you have now and keep it nice and clean.

Very cool vibe this has going. Only thing that could have made it better for me, would have been a change up in the main sample loop half way through the piece. Shame you lost the project file.

Progressive.

I really like how this builds. You actually have to listen and see where it goes. Sound palettes are good. A few of the transitions could have been just a tad smoother but nothing major. I like the theme of the melodies. Sounds like some thing that would be played during a video sequence of deep space. Very cool that it starts off slow but picks up half way through. 5/5 on site, 8 to 9 out of 10 personally :) .
